Spiritualist Mrs Drusse tricks the doctors into admitting her into the neurosurgery ward of the Kingdom hospital, where she discovers the sounds of a weeping child in the elevator shaft.

Amidst concerns over his methods, Helmer continues to be haunted by claims of medical malpractice. As Mrs Drusse draws closer to the weeping spirit-child, things become increasingly mysterious.
