B-29 Superfortress - Air Battles over Tokyo

The B-29 SUPERFORTRESS could carry a bomb load of around 4500 kilograms. Its generous all-round armament was intended to better protect the cumbersome aircraft from enemy fighters when flying in formation. Over Tokyo, nerve-wracking air battles broke out between the B-29s and the attacking ZEROS.
