Crinqué : sous le capot

Pierre embarks on a new adventure: the restoration of a 1949 Cadillac Sedanette. But with so much work to do, he's now reconsidering the idea. And that's not counting the fact that he and his team of "crinqués" also have to convert it to an electric car. Will they embark on this colossal project on a tight deadline?

Pierre and his team of "crinqués" pick up the legendary 1966 Pontiac GTO and analyze the phases of the project. First question: will the battery fit? The team is facing a major problem that will require a lot of modifications to the suspension and chassis. How will they manage?

The "crinqués" continue their work on the GTO and start on the bodywork. Now that the doors have been replaced, they're tackling the rear fenders. Pierre and his team will have many decisions to make, such as the mechanics of the dashboard and the colour of the paintwork. Will they succeed in finding the perfect color?

Pierre, Christian and Balcon will assemble the freshly painted suspension comp onents and drive gear. After installing the battery, the "crinqués" are in for a nasty surprise when it comes to mounting the body on the chassis. Do they really have a solution for everything?

Pierre makes a slight modification to the paintwork before Martin applies it to the bodywork. Ti-Guy and La Pieuvre install the front doors and fenders, while Christian and Pierre install the GTO's rear lights. Pierre hates the new steering wheel and is not sure about the styling of the GTO's rear end.

Pierre and Christian face a problem concerning the console's finish. La Pieuvre installs the windows, and Christian takes care of the air-conditioning ducts and electrical wiring. They install the wheels on the GTO and make sure everything is ready for power-up at Ingenext. Will they manage to do it all in time?
