My Lawyer, Mr. Joe

Star prosecutor Jo Deul Ho (Park Shin Yang) built himself up from nothing: while he grew up in an orphanage, he became a successful attorney and married a fellow lawyer with whom he had a daughter. However, his life takes a downward spiral when he decides to prosecute a powerful CEO and his son who caused a fatal arson, and his report of corruption in the prosecutor’s office backfires badly. Three years later, Deul Ho is homeless and unable to make ends meet, but things look up when he runs into rookie Lee Eun Zo (Kang Sora), who happens to work at the same law firm his former father-in-law operates. He decides to rebuild his career as an attorney at a small, local firm, hoping to start a new chapter in his life. This drama was based on the web comic of the same name by Hatzling.
