Love on a Shoestring

Ke Ke (Guo Shu Yao) was taught the value of money and hard work at a young age – and has been famously frugal ever since. Conversely, her free-spending coworker Hai Kuo (Sam Lin) is a total stranger to saving money… which makes things very awkward when romance begins to spark between them. There is also tension in store for the overly confident Michael (Lin He Xuan) and the extravagance-loving Elly (Cheryl Chou). Meanwhile, romance may also be on the horizon for Ke Ke’s best friend Jia Li (Katie Chen), after she meets quirky college student Yuan Chong (Huang Bo Feng). How will these very different people navigate the worlds of finance... and love? This 2024 Taiwanese drama series was directed by Peng Zhao Hong.
