Tired of being looked down on, civil servant Gong Ah Jung (Yoon Eun Hye) tells what she thinks is a small lie to an antagonistic acquaintance: she’s actually secretly married to wealthy hotel CEO Hyun Ki Joon (Kang Ji Hwan). To her dismay, the rumor spreads impossibly fast, eventually reaching Ki Joon himself. He threatens Ah Jung with a lawsuit, but a series of absurd events eventually forces Ki Joon to acknowledge that pretending to be married might actually prove mutually beneficial. As they navigate the absurdities of their fabricated relationship, dealing with nosy relatives, jealous ex-lovers, and the ever-present threat of exposure, genuine feelings begin to blossom amidst the lies. Will their pretend marriage evolve into a real one, or will the truth ultimately tear them apart?

Episode 1

In this episode, we learn the beginnings of the show start with Ah Jung, a civil servant, was betrayed by her best friend who took her lover. After awhile, she accidentally meets Hyun Ki Joon a charming man. After some confusion, her friend thinks Ah Jung married Hyun Ki Joon.

Episode 2

In this episode, Park Hoon is being harassed by an older woman and seeks legal counsel from the lawyer named Jung Choi Go. During the same time, Ki Joon spends time gazing at people's eyes and diverts attention to a strange rumor that isn't true at all.

In this episode, Ah Jung gets very unsettled by the way So Ran is being so rude that she calls Ki Joon "honey". Both Ki Joon and Ah Jung run in different directions and spend the day brooding about it. However, Ah Jung creeps secretively back into the hotel.

Episode 4

In this episode, Ah Jung tries to disguises herself again. Though, this time while running from the door to the elevator, Sang Hee sees her and cannot help but smile. Later, Park Hoon tells Ki Joon about what Ah Jung has been up to and it surprises him greatly.

In this episode, Ah Jung and Ki Joon ride together on a swan boat, but after the ride Ah Jung broke it to Ki Joon that they wouldn't see each other again. Afterwards, Ah Jung went shopping with So Ran who was shopping for her and her fake husband.

Episode 6

In this episode, Ah Jung spent some time looking for a good recipe while planning for a housewarming party, but Ki Joon told her that she couldn't use his house. While looking for a house, Ki Joon pointed out every that was wrong and this made Ah Jung very happy.
