After her mother's death, Maxpein "Max" Zin Del Valle (Belle Mariano) has been raised by her grandmother and her uncle. But when her grandmother falls ill, she's not sure what to do. To her surprise, Max is contacted by her father – whom she'd never met before – with an offer to pay for her grandmother's medical treatment. Grateful for her father's help, Max agrees to live with him and his family in Manila, but Max struggles to fully adapt to her new life. She's further ostracized at her new school when she stands up to basketball team captain Deib Lohr Enrile (Donny Pangilinan), who retaliates by getting their classmates to bully Max. However, when Deib ends up developing a crush on Max, he'll have to find a way to make up for everything he's done. This drama was adapted from the web novel of the same name by Maxine Lat Calibuso.
