It's back to school for Benjamin and Noé who find themselves in the same class. Sali is job-hunting, whilst Paul is still a florist. When Lazare, to whom Paul hasn't spoken for years, arrives unexpectedly from the Côte d'Ivoire, the happy balance of the family is put under considerable strain.

Lazare's arrival awakens a desire in Benjamin to find his biological parents. Noé falls secretly in love with Emma, but she seems to only have eyes for Benjamin. Paul discovers the real reason for Lazare's sudden arrival. Sali is torn between her search for a job and her family life.

When Benjamin receives disappointing news from his birth parents, he spirals out of control. Not having luck in her career, Sali reaches out to an ex who’s a recruiter. Meanwhile, Paul takes in Lazare, which quickly proves to be exhausting.
