Storm shows Brooke the letter about Stephen. Storm wants to forget about it but Brooke can’t. Ridge admits to Stephanie that Brooke has gotten under his skin. Katie discovers Donna’s lingerie shots and asks Donna to be careful.

Kristen asks Stephanie to help her convince Ridge and Eric to trust Clarke. Conway is relieved when the commissioner at the morgue in Tucson has no records on Stephen Logan. At the Ocean Club, Eric meets up with Beth who is wearing her prosthesis for the first time. Eric reassures Beth that he loves her regardless of her missing breast. On break at Griffey's, Donna takes a look at Tommy's photographs and thinks of what could be. Rocco arrives and spots Donna's lingerie shots which he finds extremely sexy. Rocco is stunned to learn that Donna is actually considering posing for nudes next because he thinks Tommy cannot be trusted.

Stephanie realizes that she has to act fast if she wants to save her marriage. Conway tells Stephanie that he needs a picture of Mr. Logan to have any shot of finding him soon, so Stephanie visits the Logans. To her delight, simple-hearted Katie opens the door and willingly shows her a family photo album. Unnoticed by Katie, Stephanie steals a photograph of Beth's missing husband. Storm and Beth discuss starting divorce proceedings. When Grandma Logan walks into the room and hears that Beth wants to declare Stephen dead, she is furious despite Storm's protests. Kristen recounts to Margo about dinner last night and that Clarke and her father got along much better than to be expected. Meanwhile, Eric and Clarke come to an understanding about what Clarke saw at the hospital.

Stephanie confides in Clarke about the devastating news she received on the investigation. Caroline proudly shows Thorne her new office at Spencer Publications and breaks it to her husband that will work under her maiden name. Bill wants one of his finest art directors, Valerie Cooper, to work on his daughter's new magazine. Valerie is not interested at first, but changes her mind when she hears Caroline's ideas. Kristen presents Clarke with a real-life model of his sketch and tells her thrilled boyfriend that his design will be in the fall line-up. Later, Ridge questions Clarke about his background. He warns Clarke not to hurt Kristen.

Bill pressures Thorne to buy a house to get distance between Caroline and Ridge in the everyday life. Caroline and Valerie work on the art direction of her magazine when Ridge stops by and offers further ideas for a catchy title. Thorne sees Ridge and Caroline together and wonders if Bill's fears are not as unfounded as he wants them to be. Conway informs Stephanie that he is still looking for a definite clue on Stephen Logan's whereabouts. Later, Stephanie begs Eric to be silent about the divorce one more week. After Katie confides in him that her fiancé has been extremely distant ever since the engagement, Storm goes to see Rocco and warns him not to mess with Katie's emotions.

Kristen and Ridge tell Thorne about the divorce and they wonder who the other woman is. Kristen begs Eric to reconsider but he refuses. Grandma Logan leaves home because she won’t stand for Stephen being declared dead. Caroline tells Brooke she must stop seeing Ridge or she will tell him about the letter.
