Allison and Joe begin new careers that take them in different directions.

Allison has visions of a friend of Scanlon and Lynn DiNovi dying in a home mishap. This causes her to struggle with connecting some recent "accidental" deaths, consequently putting her own health in jeopardy.

While Allison is coping with Joe's job relocation to San Diego, she dreams about and then subsequently meets a bank teller named Mrs. Boddicker who predicted a robbery at her bank.

Allison's visions become a vital source of information to the authorities after samples of a deadly disease disappear. Meanwhile, Scanlon thinks he's ready to ask Lynn to marry him.

In the 100th episode, an infant is kidnapped from Allison's neighborhood, and she becomes so determined to find the child that Joe fears she may have become obsessed.
