Salvatore Polisi

Salvatore Polisi was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York City, and he was introduced to the American Mafia by an uncle when he was four or five years old. He became an associate of the Colombo crime family during the 1960s, and he once went to Miami Beach, where he tied a man to a pool table and sliced his testicles with a Sheffield knife. He was nicknamed "Crazy Sal" due to being a fearsome enforcer, and he would later become a Gambino crime family associate. By his twenties, he was running a gambling business and mob haunts in New York after his uncles went to jail, and he had a wife and two girlfriends, 11 sports cars, Rolex watches, diamonds, and a whole cache of weapons. Once the drug business exploded, he decided that the Mafia had lost its respect, and he decided to turn states in 1986. He entered the Witness Protection Program, and he would later be interviewed about the Mafia on television.
