Michael helps Buster after he moves out of Lucille's penthouse. At the same time, he fears he is overprotecting his son George Michael, who is nervous because he must kiss Maeby in a play at school.

Michael is in love with George Michael's teacher of Ethics, Lucille ends up adopting a Korean child, and George Senior, on his part, gets the visit from a one of his fans, without knowing that she is an undercover agent.

While the government wants to cut a deal with Michael over the whereabouts of his father, George Sr. wants Michael to find out if Lucille is really in love with Oscar.

As George Sr. continues to hide out in the upstairs attic, the family prepares for an upcoming charity auction, and George-Michael gets ready to go to a Christian music bonfire.

While George Sr. decides to become a Christian, Michael tries to help George-Michael with his campaign for student body president by having Gob produce his campaign video.

When Michael realizes that Oscar, not George Sr., is serving time in prison, he sets off to find his father while also trying to find time to reconnect with George-Michael.
