When Doug befriends Joe, a driver from Priority Plus (one of IPS' competitors) his fellow IPS drivers lose all respect for him. When Joe invites Doug to a Neil Diamond concert, he discovers that it's just a ploy so that Joe's friends from Priority Plus can play a trick on him.

Feeling hurt over not being invited to a block party, Doug adopts a dog just to prove to the neighbors that he's an okay guy--a decision he soon regrets. Meanwhile, Arthur falls prey to the gambling bug when trying to help Danny beat it.

Carrie is supportive at first of Doug's cleaner approach to life, but quickly grows tired of him trying to force his new beliefs on her and having to eat meat in private.

Sabrina goes a little overboard in her attempt to seem more mature for the attentions of a college boy.

Paying the price for kissing Josh, Sabrina must adjust to life after Harvey.
