When Reagan returns home from a work trip, Jess is concerned that she has been spending too much time being Nick’s “girlfriend.” Meanwhile, Schmidt and Cece obsess over security in their new home and Aly reveals an embarrassing secret to Winston.

Glenn (Mark McKinney) invites all of his kids to the store causing disorder among the employees. Jonah (Ben Feldman) develops a romantic interest in Glenn's 25-year-old daughter, and Amy (America Ferrera) gets caught in the middle. Meanwhile, Garrett (Colton Dunn), Dina (Lauren Ash) and Cheyenne (Nichole Bloom) struggle to keep track of one of the toddlers and Mateo (Nico Santos) tricks the kids into working for him as he grapples with life after Jeff.

At the office, Eddie and Deirdre compete for Alex's time and butt heads, causing them to almost quit. As a result, Alex tries to be a good boss by coming up with a solution to split his time between the two. Meanwhile, Alex does not like Rooni's handmade costume for Ben's class project on famous people, so they come up with a surprisingly different choice.
