Twenty-five year old Ethan Humphries is suffering from a classic case of Peter Pan syndrome. In the seven years since graduating high school, his greatest accomplishment is being able to get into any club in Los Angeles. Supported by wealthy parents, he works out, parties, and brings a different girl home every night. One evening, he gets a call from his inebriated friend, Brad, who accidentally spills the beans about their best friend Jeff's wedding - taking place the following weekend. Ethan immediately flies back home to Vancouver and meets up with Jeff, who has gone so far as to name Stu, the brown-nosing Vice President of his advertising firm, his best man. Worst of all, Jeff is marrying Ethan's high school sweetheart, Stephanie. With his relationship with Jeff in shambles, Ethan focuses his efforts on getting Stephanie back.
