Two Girls and a Sailor

Singing sister act Patsy (June Allyson) and Jean Deyo (Glorgia DeHaven) may be in synch when performing, but seemingly want opposite things for their love lives. Cautious and serious Patsy wants a regular guy, while carefree Jean wants a wealthy man. When Jean starts receiving flowers from an anonymous admirer, the sisters and their friend Billy (Jimmy Durante) try to find out who he is. Meanwhile the anonymous admirer underwrites the girls’ dream to open their own canteen where they plan to entertain the troops including their friends Johnny (Van Johnson) and Frank (Tom Drake).
