Johnny "Folks" O'Brien and his mentor, con man "Blue" Howard, succeed in ripping off many of Philadelphia's wealthy with a clever diamond scam. But when their latest victim turns out to be the father of a local mafioso, they have to evade both the gangsters and the cops who are trying to put them in jail.
