Struggling with a separation still fresh on his mind, Ruggero Levati inadvertently executes the perfect bank robbery as a desperate and irrational plea to his ex-wife to take him back. But with the help of Gaetano Lolli, his reformed ex-con neighbor who acts as his unconventional counselor, Ruggero realizes he’s worth something. All the while a police investigation surrounding the robbery brings down a crime world of loan sharks and thugs.
