To Hell and Back

After his mother's death leaves him head of his Texas family, Audie Murphy enlists in the Army during WWII. Rejected by the Marines and Navy for his small size, he joins as an infantryman bound for North Africa. Audie fights with his platoon through Sicily, Italy, and France. As he rises through the ranks, he makes a solo stand against German forces that puts everything on the line.
