The Mermaid

Yang Fan (Alex Chen), a dedicated marine biologist, discovers something extraordinary during a research expedition - a mermaid. After nearly drowning, he is saved by Xiao Yu (Lin Yan Rou), a mermaid disguised as a human who initially resists his advances. Despite her initial rejection, Yang Fan persistently pursues her, hoping to prove the depth of his feelings. Their budding romance faces significant challenges, as Xiao Yu remains wary of humans who constantly threaten her underwater homeland. Their love is complicated by their fundamentally different worlds - one living on land, the other in the sea. Will their connection be strong enough to bridge this seemingly insurmountable divide?
