The Living Dead

Wen Ning (Paul Yu), a young traveler, arrives in Fu Feng, a town gripped by terror of malevolent spirits that supposedly emerge at night. The residents live in perpetual darkness, haunted by recent mysterious killings that have left them desperate and afraid. Defying the town's collective fear, Wen Ning boldly lights a lamp in the darkness, challenging the supernatural forces. His old companion Lan Si Zhui (Zheng Fan Xing) unexpectedly appears to support him in confronting these evil spirits. Together, they stand determined to fight back and liberate the town from its supernatural oppression. A spinoff of "The Untamed" series, which was based on the popular novel "Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation" by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, this is a 2019 Chinese fantasy movie directed by Qiu Zhong Wei.
