The Heimlich Maneuver

Alex Pareja is a writer who achieved his greatest success with his first novel, 'The Heimlich Maneuver'. The book was about the death of his girlfriend, who choked on a piece of chicken during dinner. Since then, none of his works have been favoured by the critics or the public again. Ten years later, Pareja is commissioned to adapt the novel to cinema.
