Cynthia Rand (Kyra Sedgwick), a buttoned-up New York City urologist married to a brilliant Watergate prosecutor, Warren Rand (Judd Hirsch), 25 years her senior, has her neatly ordered world turned upside down when he begins to slide into dementia.
