She Came to the Valley

Willy Westall works her family's farm in Webb County Texas with her crippled husband and two young daughters. The family befriends an amiable drifter who urges them to move to the Rio Grande Valley. The Westalls migrate to the budding town of Mission where Willy open a general store. All seems well until they discover the drifter is a gunrunner sympathetic to the cause of Mexican revolutionaries.
