An adulterous couple plots to kill her tyrannical husband. Shortly after the murder, they receive an anonymous letter that simply reads, "Dear Mrs. Cabot: Congratulations on the success of your murder." With this unsettling revelation, their new life together starts to fall apart as they realize that someone, somewhere, knows their dark secret.
