An emancipated Latina woman with a controversial life travels an unusual path among politicians and artists of 20th-century Latin America. Blanca Luz Brum, a contemporary of Frida Kahlo and partner of the muralist painter David Alfaro Siqueiros, constructs a narrative that is contrasted with the testimonies that bring her back to life.
