Following his separation from his mother Lucius Nero spends his early years living among the slaves. As Nero grows olde, he discovers that his mother is alive and the two reunite within Rome. As they devise a way to make him the new Emperor, Nero must learn the hardships that come with the title, both in his personal life and private life.
