Mystery Island: Winner Takes All

Emilia (Elizabeth Henstridge), a British police psychiatrist and Jason (Charlie Weber), a detective from the mainland, are back together on Mystery Island in the second installment of this mystery movie franchise. This time Emilia, Jason and the COO of mystery island, Janey, get together to host a private event for winners of a contest who get to solve a fake murder on the island for a grand prize. Things quickly go sideways when Fredericks, the house manager of Mystery Island, is murdered during the game. As Emilia and Jason dig into the mystery, they begin to unravel clues tied to the murder. However one contestant, ex-detective Bobby Teller attempts to assist with the investigation and things take a turn for the worse when Bobby also turns up murdered. Emilia and Jason begin to uncover what Bobby had found in his own investigation, which revealed that Jimbo, one of the actors hired to play out the mystery game, was being blackmailed by Fredricks for money. Jimbo murdered Fredricks to be free from the blackmail, and then murdered Bobby Teller who had discovered he was the killer. In the end, Emilia and Jason solve another murder on Mystery Island and give viewers hope of a budding romance to come in future installments.
