In high school, Hira Kazunari (Riku Hagiwara) was a quiet loner until fate connected him with the charming Kiyoi Sou (Yusei Yagi), the school's most popular student. Captivated by Kiyoi from their very first encounter, Hira's world transformed as they moved from tentative friendship to a loving relationship. Now, as they approach university graduation, Hira has taken a job as an assistant to a successful photographer, while Kiyoi is carving out his path as an actor. As they focus on their respective careers, the couple begins to drift apart. Is this the end for their high school romance? This 2023 Japanese BL film, adapted from the novel “He, Who is Beautiful” by Yuu Nagira, was directed by Mai Sakai and follows the 2021 drama “My Beautiful Man.”
