Memoirs of a Survivor

Based on the famous novel by Doris Lessing, this is the story of 'D', a housewife trying to carry on after a cataclysmic war. Garbage is piled high in the streets, the near-derelict buildings are covered with graffiti, the electricity supplies are variable and water is collected from a van. 'D" spends her time examining her relations with authority, marauding street gangs and a teenage lodger.
