Khichdi - The Movie

This movie is based on the most popular TV sitcom, Khichdi, narrated through the two wise kids of the hilariously madcap Parekh family, namely Jacky and Chakki. It depicts how Himanshu developed an ambition to have a memorable, legendary, love story and how his neighbor falls in love with him and they get engaged. On the eve of the wedding, Himanshu calls it off because he feels nothing memorable has happened in his love life. The entire family tries to create all those missing stages in Himanshu's love story in order to make it legendary. However, in this hilariously harebrained process, they make a mess of everything and it brings to light how Himanshu eventually manages to win his love back.
