American IT technician Chris Kirk decided to move to Colombia after reading about Pablo Escobar's hippos in a magazine. But then came Chris's obsessive love, jealously, and passion for a Japanese-Colombian woman, which may or may not be related to the fact he was arrested in Brazil in 2009 for international drug smuggling. Two Brazilian directors attempt to solve the puzzle that is Chris Kirk, and what really drove him to move to Colombia in the first place.
