15-year old Joy has been trying to hold her family together since her Mother died. She cooks, cleans, and has tried to become a kind of surrogate mum to her two ungrateful brothers. Every day she looks across her yard to the perfect house of the Wellman’s and dreams of a different life. A perfect life, with the perfect family. When a little mystic mayhem sees Joy wake up one morning as a Wellman, things start looking up. She has a new mum and dad, she’s popular at school and she’s dating the hottest guy in town. It’s every girls dream…right? Only now her best friend won’t talk to her, her real dad and brothers have taken a huge turn for the worse and her new family are not quite as they appeared from the outside.
