Gangway to a Future

An untrained crew partners with a dedicated team of volunteers to prepare an old trawler for their first voyage to the Mediterranean. Following a host of setbacks, the crew navigate their way to find thousands of refugees desperately attempting the crossing to Italy. Though not everyone can be saved, their moving rescue mission enables some to take their first steps towards a new life.
