Edwin "El Inca" Valero, a two-time world boxing champion, was one of the greatest symbols of Chavismo. Accompanied always by his wife, the charismatic boxer of the Venezuelan Andes fought in rings in all parts of the world, propitiating great shows and ending with many of his rivals through his fulminating knockouts. However, as he progressed professionally, his personal life became a disaster.
