Because of her religious beliefs and fears, Madame Carmabeau hasn't spoken to her gay son in many years even though it pains her. Her mindset begins to change after a chance encounter with a sick little girl during her grandson’s seventh birthday party. Relevant in today’s society and sensitive to the struggles of the LGBTQ community, this award-winning short film shows what can happen when we simply open our hearts.
