A Christmas in New York is about ordinary everyday people and the trials they face when dealing with love and romance. The story occurs at Christmas time and follows six different couples in a posh Manhattan hotel over the course of one night. We meet a young man taking his secret crush to the winter formal under the guise of friendship. There’s an elderly couple celebrating their anniversary while coming to terms with the adverse effects of age. And a musician struggling between the joys of life on tour and being away from his son. We meet a lesbian couple debating the merits of having a child. And a female executive having an affair with a colleague. There’s also a fashion mogul who meets with her ex-boyfriend to finally share a painful secret that she’s kept hidden from him for years.
