Part 1

S1, E1: In 1942, as World War II turns against the Axis powers, Benito Mussolini insists Italy can still win the war, despite signs of collapse. Count Galeazzo Ciano, his son-in-law and foreign minister, warns him that defeat is imminent. The growing tension between them reflects a deeper fracture in leadership and the unraveling of fascist control.
