Night One

S1, E101: General Santa Anna, leader of the Mexican Army, has emerged victorious at the Alamo – inflicting a brutal defeat on the Texians in his determination to quell their rebellion. Amidst the ashes of the massacre, he sends Emily West, one of the few women survivors, to recount the horrors she has seen to his nemesis, Texan leader General Samuel Houston. Fear makes men foolish and rash – and Santa Anna wants his opponents to know just what he is capable of. At the same time, unseen by the Mexicans, Lorca, the only man to survive the Alamo attack, sneaks away, intent on unleashing the harshest vengeance for the deaths of his comrades.
