S4, E12: A new batch of chefs is about to enter the kitchen. Coming from coast to coast anyone who is passionate about food has the chance to compete on "MasterChef Canada." Each episode has these amateur chefs competing for the title of MasterChef. Such challenges can be mystery box and team challenges in which they are challenged to work together to beat the other team, pressure tests in which one cook from each team can be saved, and skills tests. Each challenge is judged by a trio of judges, including Claudio Aprile, Michael Bonacini and Alvin Leung. The winner at the end of the season is named the MasterChef and take home the cash prize.
