S1, E5: Biologist and animal-tracking expert Lizzie Daly gets acquainted with the newly collared female jaguar, which they’re calling Aroeira, as the Onçafari research team works on habituating the new cat to their presence. Meanwhile, the pre-programmed hour is drawing near for Lizzie’s tag to drop from Badalo’s collar — but where? With Badalo moving deeper into the flooded forest, there’s a good chance it will end up underwater. The data Lizzie’s tag is collecting could be a game changer for jaguar research and conservation, but it’s all for naught if she can’t recover it.
