Awards Show

S1, E5: Today the crew is at Cheryl Hines’ house to remodel her screening room. Tony's (Adam Paul) mom, Rose, is on the set and making him uneasy because she’s razzing Lila. Like a good mom, Rose will do or say anything to help her son's career. Cheryl has agreed to take someone from the show to the Golden Globe Awards in lieu of taking her husband. Vying for the one extra ticket, Lila (Lindsey Stoddart) and Tony campaign to be Cheryl's guest and are mortified when Rose ends up going to the awards show. In the end, frustrated by his wife’s actions, Cheryl’s husband walks out on her.
