After being accused of murder and having her criminal past exposed, Laurel goes full Black Siren and teams up with an old criminal acquaintance, Shadow Thief (guest star CARMEL AMIT), to go on a crime spree around Star City. While Dinah aims to bring Laurel in, Felicity refuses to give up on her friend and tries everything to get through to her, even summoning Sara Lance (special guest star CAITY LOTZ) for help. However, Laurel rebuffs all her efforts, forcing the former friends to face off against each other.

Four months later, Emma's climbing her way to the top of the Pinnacle ladder alongside an old flame rekindled. Jack and Izzy settle into blissful monogamy in their newly finished loft. Carmen and new neighbor Hannah start a lifestyle magazine.

Reeling from a huge mistake, Emma seeks solace in Carmen. Izzy tries to focus on completing her doctorate by volunteering at a Homeless Youth Center. Jack decides the time is right for a deeper commitment to his relationship with Izzy.
