Alex Whitman (Matthew Perry) is a straight-laced corporate type from Manhattan. Isabel Fuentes (Salma Hayek) is a fiery Mexican-American who believes in the power of destiny. Neither gave a thought to where a single night of passion would lead, but the whims of chance had other ideas. When they meet three months late, she's pregnant and they decide to get married. It's a long way from Manhattan to Las Vegas, but Alex is beginning to think it was worth the trip. Fools Rush In tells the funny, romantic story of fated lovers trying their luck at the world's oldest game: love. Produced by Doug Draizin (Spy Hard), the film is directed by Andy Tennant (It Takes Two) from a screenplay by Katherine Reback from a story by Joan Taylor & Katherine Reback. Anna Maria Davis is co-producer and Michael McDonnell (The Usual Suspects) acts as executive producer. The film also stars Jon Tenney, Jill Clayburgh, Tomas Milian, John Bennett Perry, Siobhan Fallon and Carlos Gomez. Robbie Greenberg, ASC is the Director of Photography. Edward Pisoni is the production designer. The film was edited by Roger Bondelli, A.C.E. Kimberly Tillman is the costume designer.
