Meurtres à Nancy

Nancy, the French capital of Art Nouveau. A city which is conducive to long walks along the bourgeois facades of the city center, strolls along the banks of the Meurthe, visiting the Museum of Fine Arts or the infamous Place Stanislas. Except when the body of a woman, who has been shaved and tortured to death, is found during an auction next to the inscription of the old French synonym of witch, "guenoche," written in blood. The police captain Laurence Weber and her son's recent girlfriend, lieutenant Chloé Guérin, investigate.
