Heartbreak Ridge

Academy Award-winner Clint Eastwood ("Unforgiven," "Million Dollar Baby") directs and stars as Marine Corps gunnery sergeant Tom Highway, a highly decorated but maverick combat veteran whose acts of bravery are as legendary as his barroom brawls. Eastwood takes on a platoon of total foul-ups and sets out to turn them into a razor-sharp fighting unit on his last tour of duty, and at the same time attempts to rekindle a romance with his ex-wife, Academy Award-winner Marsha Mason ("Goodbye Girl," "Chapter Two").
