Masao’s father Shinichi started the business during WWII servicing European and American cars for foreign GI’s stationed in Japan and made his son promise him that Naito Auto would live for at least three generations more. The film explores the family’s inspiration, obsession, ambition and sacrifice. As Masao nears retirement, can he trust his children to continue his legacy and fulfil his dying wish?
