"Juan (Dolphy), an industrious provincial bachelor, provides for and educates three adopted siblings: Andy (Edgar Mortiz), Ricky (Rolly Quizon) and Marie (Elena Marie), and Janice (Janice Jurado), his real sister who is most defiant and insubordinate. They all live lavish modern lives in the city out of Juan’s diligence with his farm, poultry and piggery. Juan falls in love with Akang (Charo Santos), an equally old-fashioned dressmaker. After Akang becomes Juan’s sweetheart, Juan moves Akang into an apartment in Manila so he can introduce her to his siblings. But Juana undermines Akang for fear they will lose their privileged lifestyle, drawing Juan’s outrage and indignation."
