State Champs: Around the World and Back

When State Champs stole away to a cabin in upstate New York to write Around the World and Back, they had no idea what was on the horizon. Over the next two years, the record took them on a journey to more corners of the globe than they thought possible. From song conceptions on Japanese rooftops to cliff jumping on the beaches of Australia, friends and fans alike are now able to follow Derek DiScanio, Tyler Szalkowski, Evan Ambrosio, Tony Diaz and Ryan Scott Graham as they literally trek around the world and back. This feature length film includes live performance footage from the bands’ world tour with Neck Deep, Warped Tour and the celebrated Reading and Leeds festival. Viewers are invited to get up close and personal with the band through extensive behind the scenes footage of their backstage and off-day shenanigans, as well as confessional interviews with each member. Watch the band experience nearly every emotion over the span of an hour and fifteen minutes, as they realize you don’t always get fun and games without a little sacrifice and struggle.
