Purple Beatz

A coming-of-age, music-driven, romantic drama, set in the underground drum n bass music scene of 90’s London, 'Purple Beatz' tells the story of Sarah Jane, an incredible young British Asian singer songwriter who moves to London from Bournemouth in the mid 90’s to make it in the music industry. After meeting Russell-D, a fast-talking cockney music executive, Sarah Jane is led down a path that would be difficult to return from. Only with the love and support of her friends and family can she find the courage to break ties and distance herself from Russell-D and anyone who wants to exploit her.
